Crazy about Prison Break

Not sure why, but I got into a long discussion with my mom last weekend about how great “Prison Break” is.

If you know my mom, you know “Prison Break” is definitely not her thing.

But there’s a lot I like about it.

The show is about two brothers, Michael and Lincoln. Lincoln was framed for murder and Michael robs a bank to go to prison to save him.

They escape from prison.

Eventually get caught and have to escape from a Mexican prison.

To taking Scylla, data cards with alternative forms of energy, including B:Ar:Ga, information that would free his brother.

To rescuing Michael’s girlfriend when she goes to jail.

To Michael’s death and the show going off the air for several years. He married his girlfriend, Sara, and had a son, but Michael “died” shortly afterwards.

The show returned to say Michael faked his death and was forced to by a shadowy government group to break out of prisons around the world.

Lincoln saved his by traveling to Yemen rescuing his brother and fighting ISIS.

There’s a lot to unpack here and it’s been a lot of fun watching the series. If you want to check out it, you can buy it here.

Following the Steelers can be tiring

Team turmoil is back in Pittsburgh. I’ll always be a fan, but I miss the professionalism of the past Steelers teams.

Here’s more about the feud and Rich Eisen depresses me more below.

I’m such an old man

Fell asleep at 9 p.m. and missed the New Year’s Eve celebration.

If you’re old like me, you can watch it here.
