According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there’s been a 27% increase in intersection fatalities since 2010. We analyzed this data to highlight the deadliest areas in the U.S. where Ohio stands out:

In 2017, Ohio ranked 13th in intersection fatalities per 1,000 miles of road.

With 43 deaths per 100,000 people, Fulton County, Ohio ranks as the sixth deadliest U.S. county per 100,000 people.

Since 2010, there have been 8,752 of these deaths per year. That’s 24 per day.
