“Before We Said Hello is a wonderful resource to be able to provide to those who experience miscarriage, as well as to those who are walking through post-abortion healing,” says Kay Sanford of Care Net. “I am so grateful for how God is moving and using Before We Said Hello in the work that Care Net does for so many hurting people,” says Nordquist. “I am blessed and honored to pray over each book that goes out to those who are in need of His healing touch.” “This is the second time Music for the Soul and Care Net have partnered together,” notes Music for the Soul founder Steve Siler. “We previously appeared at the 2018 Care Net conference to feature Mercy Great Enough, our project for those who have remorse over an abortion decision in their past, and we’re excited to be able to once again partner with Care Net and share in the life-affirming work they are doing! They have an initiative called Making Life Disciples that inspires churches to offer compassion, hope, and help to women and men in their pews and communities who are considering abortion.” Since the October 15, 2019, release of Before We Said Hello, Nordquist has found herself in demand as a guest on multiple television and radio broadcasts, print, and online media outlets, including interviews and performances with Worship Leader Magazine, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s influential podcast, GPS: God. People. Stories., Cornerstone TV’s flagship program Real Life, the Christian Television Network’s It’s Time with Herman & Sharron and Bridges, the TCT television network’s Julie & Friends, WATC television shows Babbie’s House, Atlanta Live, and Friends & Neighbors, nationally syndicated radio show Bill Martinez Live! Norquist has been in the studio with Music for the Soul over the summer, recording two new songs that will be added to Before We Said Hello this coming October in commemoration of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, which takes place on October 15th. While several live events that Nordquist and Music for the Soul had scheduled for 2020 to feature Before We Said Hello have been cancelled or postponed due to the COVID19 virus, they anticipate rescheduling and will resume sharing the project more broadly in 2021. In the meantime, the devotional book written by Nordquist featuring free downloads of the song “Heaven’s Playground” and the title track are available at musicforthesoul.org/resources/before-we-said-hello.
