A study completed by Pickswise has found that Philadelphia Eagles fans were the most stressed fans on Twitter during the 2021 regular season.
Using data from Twitter, where over a million tweets were collated, it was found that Eagles fans tweeted terms that could be deemed stressful, angry or disappointed sentiments over 96,000 times. This was nearly 90,000 more tweets than fans of the Cardinals, who had an impressive start to the season before injuries halted their progress.
Despite topping their division and conference, Tennessee Titans fans are nearly as stressed as the Eagles’, with 86,130 tweets coming from them. Las Vegas Raiders fans finalize the top three after clinching their playoff spot in the final game of the regular season.
Which NFL fans are the most stress-free?
Packers and Chiefs fans sit in the bottom four after both teams topped their divisions, enjoying mostly stress-free passages to this stage so far.
For defending Super Bowl Champions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, their fans sat mid-table as their team suffered injuries throughout the season. The Bucs still clinched the division with QB Tom Brady leading the league for passing yards and TDs.
