Winter waterfalls and more to explore at Cleveland Metroparks

(Cleveland Metroparks) – Explore winter waterfalls with February’s Ten to Explore presented by Wayside Furniture! Whether it’s Mill Creek Falls, the tallest waterfall in Cuyahoga County, or the double waterfall in Bedford Reservation, seeking out waterfalls in Cleveland Metroparks rewards winter hikers with an enchanting snowy scene. Take on a winter adventure of your own or keep an eye out for an upcoming naturalist led hike including a trek to Groundwater Falls in Bedford Reservation on February 20.
Additional Upcoming Programs:

February 19: Explore the amazing animals that super heroes get their tricks from and then make a comic book of your own at Super Animals at West Creek Reservation. Free. Ages 5 & up with adult.

February 18-21: Stop by the Great Backyard Bird Count all weekend long at Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation’s CanalWay Center to join people across the country in a great bird species count! Free.

February 21: Drop-By: School’s Out Nature Fun at North Chagrin Reservation to create a one of a kind bird feeder and then grab a scavenger hunt and see what you can find around the marsh. Free.

February 21: Drop-By: Mammal-Palooza and get hands-on with some amazing mammal specimens at Rocky River Nature Center. Free.

February 24: Explore Big Creek Reservation at Hike: Cool Critters and find out what animals adapt for winter. Free.

February 26: Get a close look at this month’s live animal, a Gray Ratsnake, at Children’s Nature Hour at Brecksville Reservation. Free.
