Meet Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Eastern black rhinoceros calf, Dalia

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Eastern black rhinoceros calf, Dalia made her public debut on Aug. 10. The calf will explore the outdoor rhino habitat for the first time, where guests will now have a chance to visit her.

Born to mom, Kibibbi, on July 9, Dalia is the eighth calf born at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Her name was selected following a public naming opportunity that raised over $10,000 for rhino conservation efforts through the Zoo’s longtime conservation partner the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF).
